What do I bring?
Yourself and a whistle! If you have umpired the Darwin 9s before, please bring your existing orange umpire shirt and orange socks, plus your NTFL shorts. For those of you who are new, we will provide you with a brand new orange umpiring shirt, orange socks & orange wristbands. Umpires will also be paid $100 cash if available for the full day, or $50 if available for half the day.
If you are taking photos and posting on Instagram on the day, it would be great if you could include the hashtags #aflinternational and #darwin9s. Thank you!
Is there a roster?
Mark Noonan is putting the umpire’s roster together. This will be put up in the Umpire’s room on the day.
From experience the roster will evolve during the day – to account for people who need a break, might need to leave early etc. But everyone will get plenty of games and the chance to rest as well.
How much fun is it going to be?
Heaps! See you soon 🙂
