Australian Football International (AFI) is pleased to announce that the Europe 9s will return to Spain in October 2026.
Entry is open to national teams from all over Europe.
The format is Footy 9s, with all matches being played on soccer fields. This allows us to play Australian Football on playing fields that are found readily throughout Europe.
The 2026 Europe 9s follows on from the great success of the inaugural Europe 9s in Barcelona in 2025. Please see the video below.
In a historic first for the game in Europe, there will be 3 Divisions – Men’s Footy, Women’s Footy & Touch Footy. The top 2 teams in each Division will progress through to the Grand Final.
