Touch Footy 9s is the No.1 non-contact version of Australian Football.
Teams are mixed and no prior experience is required. It’s also great fun to play!
Footy 9s can be played on any rectangular field, whether rugby or soccer, and uses existing goalposts and field markings.
Each team consists of 9 players on the field – 3 forwards, 3 midfielders and 3 backs.
A goal is scored when the ball is kicked through the posts. If the ball hits the posts and continues through the posts, it is a goal. If the ball hits the posts and comes back into the field of play, it is play on.
