Australian Football International (AFI) is excited to announce that the inaugural Europe 9s will be held in Kraków, Poland on Saturday 4 October, 2025!
Entry is open to national teams from all over Europe.
The format of the tournament is Footy 9s – to see how the game is played, please see the video below.
The Europe 9s follows on from the great success of the World 9s, Masters 9s and Darwin 9s, which have been crucial in developing Footy 9s in Australia.
In a historic first for Europe, there will be 3 Divisions – Men’s Footy, Women’s Footy & Touch Footy. The top 2 teams in each Division will progress through to the Grand Final.
We are very pleased to bring this exciting new format of the game to Europe!
