AFI is committed to realising the development of a fair, equitable and ethical governance and football development structure around the world that is athlete-centred and people-focused.
AFI defines Equality and Inclusion as recognising and removing the barriers faced by people involved, or wanting to be involved in Australian Football. It is about managing the culture of football so that it values diversity and enables the full involvement of disadvantaged groups in every aspect of the sport.
AFI has set out its commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion in its Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Policy.
AFI is also working towards meeting the objectives set out in its Equality Action Plan.
